The Halloween online Video Contest 2024 is now open. Calling all creatures of the night – it’s competition time!
Enter the London Dance Academy Halloween online video contest 2024 and be in with a chance to win some frighteningly good prizes! Get creative with a spooky costume, some killer choreo and send us your video entry by midnight on 20th October. Then get your friends to vote for you, more on how to do this below. Halloween is just around the corner, and this year, the world of online video contests is buzzing with excitement as we gear up for a thrilling competition like no other. Forget the traditional trick-or-treating; welcome to our annual video contest where the stage is virtual, but the talent is very real!

How to enter
All you need to do is send us your video. We’ll send you your link back to share with your network!
- Submit your video by emailing bookings@londondanceacademy.co.uk – we recommend using WeTransfer.com to send your entries (free to use). Ideally 1 minute or less (2 minutes maximum) with a short Halloween-themed routine in your best scary costume. Your video must be in high resolution, in .mp4 or .mov format, and NO editing of the choreography or routine. Special effects on top of the video is allowed.
- Closing date for entries is 20th October at midnight.
- We will upload your video to our YouTube Channel and send you the link for you to share, so your friends can vote for you. Note: Please make sure you tag and follow us on Instagram @LondonDanceAcademy and subscribe on YouTube @LondonDanceAcademyNEW
- The video with the most votes (likes) will be the winner!!! (…and we may have some special categories, too!)
All voting will be closed at Midnight on 30th October. We will announce the final results on 31st October 2024
Prizes for the top 3 videos with most votes
First prize / most votes: 1 month of the Addict Membership, worth £360, a bespoke hand printed London Dance Academy Hoodie & chance to perform at one of our big showcases
Second prize: A 10 class pack worth £180, a customised bespoke London Dance Academy T-shirt, crop top or shorts
Third prize: A 5 class pack worth £94, a customised bespoke London Dance Academy T-shirt, crop top or shorts
Terms & Conditions
- The contest is open to dancers all over the world, from beginners to advanced in any style and any category.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.
- The contest will run on London Dance Academy’s channels on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- One entry per person.
- Closing date for entry will be midnight on 20th October. After this date no further entries to the contest will be accepted.
- No responsibility will be accepted by London Dance Academy for entries not received by the closing date, for whatever reason.
- By entering this contest, the entrant is indicating their consent for the video to be used by London Dance Academy to promote the contest, and for future usage on social media, with the respective credits.
- By entering this contest, the entrant is indicating their agreement to be added to the London Dance Academy booking system and mailing list.
- The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- Voting will close on 30th October 2024 at midnight.
- Winners will be announced on 31st October 2024. Each winner will be contacted via email, and social media announcements will be made. If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.
- All communications regarding the progress and status of the contest will be announced on Instagram @LondonDanceAcademy
