Aerial Yoga Class

The Aerial Yoga class uses a hammock made of silky material, which will be used to support your weight. This allows you to achieve proper postural alignment through relaxation rather than effort.

Come fly with us!

London Dance Academy has been at the forefront of Aerial Yoga in London since 2010. We were one of the first studios to introduce AntiGravity Yoga to the city. This innovative fusion of Aerial Arts and Yoga has since blossomed into a vibrant practice.

Our Aerial Yoga class is suitable for all levels

Our Aerial Yoga classes at London Dance Academy are fun and supportive. We combine ancient yogic principles with modern aerial techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, our classes are designed to cater to you. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to explore the liberating sensation of being suspended in the air, supported by a hammock. This makes the suspended practise safe and helps to nurture strength and flexibility.

What sets Aerial Yoga apart is its ability to offer a unique blend of physical challenge and mental relaxation. The hammock provides not only support but also a sense of freedom. Enabling you to flow through poses that may otherwise be more challenging on the mat. This practice allows for deep stretches that elongate muscles, strengthen the core, and improve overall flexibility.

Beyond the physical benefits, Aerial Yoga at London Dance Academy is an invitation to explore mindfulness and inner peace. As you learn to trust the hammock and surrender to gravity, you’ll discover a calming rhythm that syncs breath with movement. This meditative aspect of Aerial Yoga can help alleviate stress, improve focus, and cultivate a sense of balance both on and off the mat.
