Pole Level 2 – Elementary

Prior pole dancing experience required (equivalent to our Level 1/Foundation level)

You will solidify the skills developed during Level 1 and progress to learn complex transitions and spins. We will help you further develop your pole skills, and add exciting new moves to your repertoire.

Once you have mastered all standard grip spins, spinning climbs to the top of the pole, one-handed spins, inverted crucifix snake dismount and your inverted V on both sides, you’re ready to move on to our Intermediate level.

Here are some of the moves you’ll master:

  • Straddle invert
  • Outside leg hang
  • Inside leg hang
  • Inverted teddy/star
  • Butterfly
  • Flatliner
  • Side climb
  • Handstand/headstand against pole
  • Cross knee release
  • Aerial fan kick and Split grip fan kick
  • Hello boys (and other leg variations)
  • Thigh hold
  • Martini sit
  • Statue
  • Pirouette down pole
  • Jamilla
  • Blade
  • Cradle spin
  • Chair spin one hand
  • Monsoon spin (spins changing direction)
  • Twisted Spiral spin
  • Split grip Spins – all leg variations
  • Superman from floor only

Pole Level 2 – Course structure:

Each class is 60 minutes long and with 7 poles available, you’ll have plenty of time to focus on the more challenging moves, such as inverts. With our Covid Guidelines in place we only have 1 person per pole.

Here at London Dance Academy, we recognise that life can get in the way of training and progress, so we have designed a flexible structure to enable you to book into sessions at a time and pace to suit you!

You can book any Elementary class on the schedule, to suit your timetable and the busy life we know you lead outside of pole dancing!

Our instructors will assess you on an ongoing basis and let you know when you will be ready to move to the next level. On average, the Elementary level takes about 12-15 sessions to complete, but as with all skills, there is no hard and fast rule, and we support every student in their individual progress and pace.

If you are running late for a class, please do call reception to let us know. With our new Covid Guidelines latecomers will not be permitted.  Also, please note we require a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations.
