Pole dancing is a technique that anyone can learn. No prior dance or fitness experience is needed. Don’t forget we were all beginners once!
We recommend you take a few Discover Pole Classes before you sign up to Level 1.
During your Pole Level 1 lessons your posture, fitness and confidence will improve and more importantly, you’ll have loads of fun while starting to achieve your goals. As well as learning basic pole moves, you’ll learn how to choreograph moves to form your own beautifully flowing routines.
Each class is 1 hour long, so you’ll have plenty of time to focus on the more challenging moves, such as inverts, climbs and spins.
Our Old Street venue has 7 poles, and with Covid Guidelines we will always aim for a maximum of 1 person per pole.

Do bring along a pair of shorts as some of the moves require you to grip with your legs.
Please do not use any body lotion or moisturiser on the day of your class, as it will cause you to slip. This is very important!
Here at London Dance Academy, we recognise that life can get in the way of training and progress, With a flexible structure to enable you to book into sessions at a time and pace to suit you.
You can book any Level 1 Foundation class on the schedule to suit your timetable and the busy life we know you lead outside of pole dancing!
Our instructors will assess you on an ongoing basis and let you know when you will be ready to move to the next level. On average, the Foundation level takes about 6-12 sessions to complete, Our professional friendly instructors will support every student in their individual progress, needs and pace.
If you are running late for a class, please do call reception to let us know. With our new Covid Guidelines latecomers will not be permitted. Also, please note we require a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations.
