Flex & Contortion will focus on breathing exercises, strengthening backs and legs, correct body alignment, and holistic posture techniques. The class will focus on how to avoid putting strain on your body. Work to your body’s full potential and achieve beautiful lines and a healthier spine!
This class will make a major contribution in helping you to be more aware of your body’s needs at all times. You will learn how to get the best out of your training without damaging joints, muscles or ligaments. The class will also teach you how to avoid over-training or lack of stretching and body alignment.
Suitable for everyone from complete beginner to experienced dancer. Flex & Contortion is a perfect complementary session for other dance and acrobatics classes as well as improving your general flexibility.
If you are running late for a class, please do call reception to let us know. Please be aware that if you are more than 10 minutes late, you may not be able to join, as it may be after the warm up. Also, please note we require a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations.
