This class builds on strength, technique as well as flexibility. Get perfect and safe handstands and shoulderstands through a range of exercises, using the floor and wall.
In this class, you will play with handstands and shoulderstands on and off the pole and explore transition moves (getting into and out of them). You will also be introduced to some basic contortion techniques. Get deliciously flexible hand-balance poses and also test out some handstand partner work!
Suitable for all levels, so don’t be afraid if you’ve never been able to do a handstand or forearm balance. You will be guided step by step in a supportive environment to achieve goals you never thought possible.
This class is ideal on its own as well as supporting flexibility and strength development for aerial skills, pole dancing and other dance forms.
If you are running late for a class, please do call reception to let us know, and please be aware that if you are more than 10 minutes late, you may not be permitted to enter, as it may be after the warm up. Also, please note we require a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations.
